Rayonics SA smart lock system combines the benefit of
mechanical
operation and the security of advanced electronics. The smart lock system
integrates RFID technology with innovative locking mechanisms managed by
software installed on your pc.
One key can be programmed to operate multiple locks, eliminating the need for multiple keys, and
multiple keys can be programmed to open the same locks, so that new keys do not need to be cut. When
the key is used to open the lock, the lock will transmit events to the key whether the operation was
successful or not, creating an audit trail that can be viewed within the software. The keys are
programmed and read with an encoder via NFC (near field communication).
Smart lock electronic cylinders can be easily retro-fitted to replace mechanical lock cylinders in existing
doors, cabinets, drawers and padlocks. The smart lock is free of wires and cables, and can replace
traditional mechanical locks easily due to the wide range of locks available, such as: padlocks, cam
locks, swing handles, L-handles, E-plugs, figure 8 cylinders, Yale cylinders, 121 RIM locks, EN single,
double, and half cylinders, vending locks, showcase locks, 530 cylinders, 570 oval cylinders, and so on..
The Rayonics locking cylinders do not contain a battery and are therefore maintenance free and can
bear severe environments.
